Vanquishing tips
Hello all . I recently started vanquishing Tyria continent but stumbled on some nasty mobs in some zones.
I will be thankful if somebody give me some tips on heroes and hero builds for those zones:
* Kessex Peak
* Ice Floe
* Talus Chute
* Mineral Springs
* Lornar's pass AND the one in the south.
I play a necro (N/Rt SS) with two more necro heroes - N/Rt healer and N/Mo MMbomber. Usually play with two warrior henchmen, two more healers and an ele. The build was doing great job till now, but I really have big problems with the Dolyak + Gnasher groups in the mountains, The Ice imps and Mursaats in Ice floe, the Verata groups in Kessex Peak and pretty much with the choice of heroes for vanquishing around Ascalon (the f**ing grawl healers in Eastern Frontier too >.<).
Thank you very much for suggesting what heroes and what kind of builds should I take for those zones.

vanquishing tips for tyria and others
Hello
Having vanquished everything, i can tell you since you are a necro, SS is definelty a good thing, jagged bones minion bomber is also a plus, but you start getting into the areas that youm mentioned , ice floe, lornars pass, talus shute, mineral springs, you definelty need a mesmer, a good solid interupt mesmer witha power block build or energy surge build form wiki, will do wonders for you, i often take both my mesmer heros(norgu and gwen) and also my MM, and just get the henchie healers and 2 more, the mesers will insure the casters dont get many skills off, also affecting there heals, which will able to take them down easly., ss necros and mesmers truly shine in hardmode, its like it was made for them.!! LOL

[discord] FTW.
Don't use minion skill in Kessex Peak, they will steal them.
Also take [rend enchantments] for the monks.

[Technobabble] + [Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support] + careful pulling will work wonders on your skill bar for those !@#$$ Grawl Ulodytes
Ranger Hero with [Broad Head Arrow] really helps to shutdown casters too.
I don't think you necessarily have to have a mesmer hero for those areas as long as you take your time and pull carefully.

Wow, thank you for the answers so quickly.
I'll try all your suggestions tonight. I'm a little worried indeed about the big mursaat elementalists group that's patroling in Ice Floe. Will see what am I gonna do about those, and how . I have a friend that plays dervish(or ranger), he could help too, probably.
To be honest I almost never used my mesmer heroes. But have BHA ranger hero . Usually I play with Jora as axe wielder and two monks (one HB and one ZB prot), but in Hard Mode its a pain, yeah.
The Discord build's something new I guess. Stoped playing GW for some months. Never played it. I'll try this .
Thank u very much one more time ^^. Will be in touch.

I'm having a real pain with the ice imps... How do you suggest to counter Maelstorm from 6-7 attacking imps? Can't pull less, they're a group right in front Ice caves of Sorrow >.<

[Tease] and [Cry of Frustration] on a hero , or slap [Protective spirit] on yourself , flag henchies/heroes a bit back and draw the maelstorms in some crazy direction and kill them.

ice floe vanquish/frozen forrest vaanquish????
Hello
Lustrouss - Ice floe and the rest of those areas are not really that hard, all about having the right builds, and having a longbow to pull, everyone should have longbow on there charcter, dont have to be nothing fancy, even a white one will work, its whole purpose is to use for pulling,any way, i will be on this afternoon, around 4:30 PM eastern standard time(virginia - usa), if you need help, i be glad to help you out, i play a ranger, and my heroes are good, with solid builds and maxed out to the max, and if anyone else would like to come, feel free to come along, i be more than glad to help you out with ice floe and frozen forrest if you like, my ingame name is Gwendolyn Star

Glad to play with you, sure. I already have Frozen forest, but Talus Chute and the Ice Floe are paaaain with those imps. I do play with to interrupt mesmers with runes, insignias and kind of good weapons. I also use a bow for pulling, but still... outside Ice Caves of Sorrow there is a group of 7-10 imps and when I'm bombarded with Maelstorm, my heroes don't even spread. The place is tiny too. Wanted to run to Icedome and do it, but when I get there I already have DP (should buy some DP removals).

vanquish tips
hey,
talus chute (long), lornars pass and ice floe are easy, kessex peak can definetly be a pain, instead of bringing sabway, i would go splinter barrage rangers, SS, 2 mesmers, 1 Vision of regret and 1 energy surge, and 2 monks,

Ok, I've done everything except Lornar's Pass. Will do it eventually today or tomorrow. Kessex was a pain, but made it with two fire eles, three monks (one BiP monk - don't ask), a war, a mesmer and SS.
